Staff and
faculty who are traveling
on college business or have
certain other off-campus
computing needs can borrow
a laptop computer or tablet from ITS.
Our Windows and Macintosh laptops are equipped with standard office software
such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
All laptops support Internet access via wireless and Ethernet connections.
Laptops, tablets, and projectors are loaned on a first-come, first-served basis, so please
let us know your requirements as far in advance as possible.

Faculty
The short-term laptop loan program is intended for staff and faculty who need
a computer for a professional conference or for a brief period of off-campus
work.
To reserve a laptop for up to three weeks, fill out the Digital Support Request Form.
Please make your reservation well in advance to ensure that a suitable device
will be available. When you email your reservation request, please specify:
- Whether
you need a Mac or Windows laptop
- Your
pickup and return dates

Sabbatical
Laptop Loans
for Faculty
The Sabbatical Laptop Loan Program assists tenure-track faculty who require
computer equipment during their sabbatical leave.
The program allows you to borrow a Windows or Macintosh laptop computer for
up to one year during your sabbatical leave. Please fill out the Digital Support Request Form to make a request.

Responsibilities of the Borrower
Pick-up and
return of laptops and projectors takes place in the Central Service Point in the Neilson Library.
When you pick up your loaner equipment, you
will be asked to sign and date a loan
agreement that specifies
the terms of the loan.
Terms of the Loan
- Return of Equipment: You must return
the loaned equipment at the end of
the loan period.
- Property Protection: You are responsible for taking appropriate precautions to prevent damage, loss, or theft of the loaned equipment.
- If the loaned equipment is lost, or damaged beyond normal "wear and tear," you are required to notify ITS.
- In the event of theft, you are required to file an appropriate Public Safety or police report and notify ITS.
- Reimbursement in event of loss, theft, or damage: If the loaned equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged* during your loan period, you are responsible for reimbursing the college as follows:
