COMPUTER PURCHASES

All Smith College students, staff, and faculty with a valid Smith ID are eligible to purchase a new computer system at educational prices through the Smith College Computer Store.

If the store doesn't have what you're looking for in stock, it can be special-ordered - often at an educational price.

The Smith College Computer Store is located in Stoddard Hall 22, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The store accepts MasterCard, Visa, checks, and cash.

Please note that all computers sold by the Smith College Computer Store meet the minimum requirements for connecting to the Smith Residence Network.


Computer-Purchase Financial Assistance for Students

For computer-purchase financial assistance, first contact the Smith College Computer Store at 413-585-3027 to obtain a sales quote.

After you receive a sales quote from the Computer Store, contact the Student Financial Services office at sfs@smith.edu.


Computer-Purchase Loans for Staff and Faculty

When buying a computer through the Smith College Computer Store, staff and faculty may apply for a loan from the Five College Credit Union to finance their computer purchase . For more information, contact the Computer Store at 413-585-3027.
