Biography

Joanna Olin joined Smith in 2018 and oversees government relations for the College by fostering relationships with local, state, and federal government officials, tracking legislative developments, and advocating for policies and initiatives that support the College’s mission and goals. In her chief of staff role, she serves as a strategic advisor to the president and works to advance her goals through coordinating the president’s team, supporting presidential committees, and overseeing the operational and financial affairs of the Office of the President. She holds a B.A. in psychology from Saint Michael’s College and a J.D. from Western New England School of Law.
